Magnificent soup cup and saucer with rose knob lid and handles, extremely rare on the market, part of “Chinese Bouquet “ Collection, Apponyi Green Color, produced by Herend around ‘70, in excellent to pristine condition. This is an exquisite dish in perfect condition, made by Herend - Hungary, in order to dress up sophisticated dining tables for special meals. Actual production of soup cups does not regularly include anymore the rose knob lid, but as special request only. The origin of the pattern is associated with Count Albert Apponyi, for whom this simplified version of “Fleurs des Indes “ was first prepared in the 1930’s years. All the parts are in excellent to pristine condition, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs. Please, see the pictures as they are an important part of the description.
