Armand Pierre Fernandez, known as Arman (Nice, 17 November 1928 – New York, 22 October 2005), was a French painter and sculptor.
The artist used to include broken musical instruments in his canvases. Part of his work was then based on the accumulations of objects such as shoes, coins, watches, brushes, tubes of paint and more. He also dedicated himself to sculptural works, generally bronze, which represented the same subjects as the canvases.
