Vintage Polish art-glass vase, dated 1970s. Sudety Glassworks.
Magnificent Mid-century modern glass. Designed by one of most renowned names in Polish glass of XXc. Lucyna Pijaczewska. She often works in collaboration with another great glass artist - prof. Zbigniew Horbowy (1935-2018). Fully hand made. In gentle MCM forms, so called "Swedish stile" -pinnacle of glass fashion that time.
Charming colour, unexpected in translucency, floating shades of sun and lemons. Double decorative "handles" on the upper side. Item with soul and statement in the room space.
The condition of vase is excellent vintage. No chips and cracks, no restorations. Small imperfections inside the glass - real proof of hand made way of production. Slight traces of age and use.
Approximate dimensions: Height: 28 cm. Widest diameter: ca.14-15 cm. Weight: 1.016 kg.
