About the author: Uliano Lucas (Milan, 1942) Formed very young in the environment of Brera and the bar Jamaica scene, a place of artists, journalists and photographers of the 60s, has collaborated over the decades, always freelance, with weekly and Italian newspapers. As an envoy he followed for years the decolonization of Africa and the liberation wars in Angola, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique and Eritrea, he documented the reality of the Middle East, the dissolution of the former Yugoslavia, the life of the emigrants in Europe, the student protest, the years of terrorism, the world of work and its transformations. He is the author of numerous books, the most important "Cinque anni a Milano" was selected by Parr/Badger in the volume Photobook History
