Pale celadon nephrite sculpture horse and monkey - China – end of 20th Century On offer is a nicely carved grey-white pale celadon nephrite jade sculpture of a monkey riding the horse. This jade sculpture is made in the Chinese taste and has a grey-white color, with a slight green undertone. This fine jade pendant passes the scratch test for good hardness, no scratch with sencys hardmetal scratch pen possible! Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Also tested for thermal conductivity, which indicates Nephrite jade. A fine piece, very suitable as an addition to your collection or to present as a gift.
