Mid Century, Art Deco Buffet - Cabinet by Jindrich Halabala 1940s, Up Závody

This mid-century display case called “Television” was designed by world-renowned Czechoslovak architect Jindřich Halabala in 1947 and it was manufactured in UP závody Brno in a limited edition for only two years since 1946.
This is an extremely successful piece of design. Rounded edges along the sides of the sideboard, tapered – angled legs, chess pattern on walnut veneer.

Currently, this one piece can be found on the world market!
It is a very rare type, as the upper part of the basic version boat is smaller and the interior is painted yellow or black.
Made for order.
Perfect veneering, replacement glass and beautifully patterned wooden parts.
