Dating it ‘Taishô 7’大正七年, Anno 1918, and stating that the pair was made at request of Ôzuka Wazaburô 大塚和三郎 for the collection of the Ôzuka family. Colour and ink on silk. The snow covering the tree trunks and branches have slightly shimmering texture accents. Protected by a black lacquered frame with its original hardware. Dimensions: Total width: 189 cm. (2 x 94.5 cm); Height: 181 cm. They are in a very good original condition with some minor traces of wear of silk along the upper rims. Please take a look at the photos for a clear condition refence. The folding screen is ideal for mounting flat on a wall and presenting as a single work of art. When shipped we will add a certificate of authenticity.
