A stainless steel automatic dress watch from International Watch Company Schaffhausen, or IWC as they are more familiarly known. This is perhaps one of their most beloved vintage models. Containing a real workhorse, and reliable in house movement, this watch is very versatile. It is more of a dress watch, but due to the larger size, and thicker lugs it can also be worn more casually. The dial is very much in the spirit of IWC. Clean, uncluttered and elegant with the more desirable fully written out script logo sitting just below the 12 o'clock marker. The slightly bronze coloured silver dial has the brushed sunburst finish which catches light beautifully. It has a very clean layout with simple long applied baton markers on the hours, a relief minute track similar to the likes of Patek Philippe on their Calatrava models, the date window large and clear at the 3 o'clock position and fully signed.
