Balvenie 21 ans Portwood Finish is a Scotch whisky aged in second-fill casks (bourbon and sherry). This single malt matures for 12 months in old Port casks that have contained tawnies. David Stewart, in person, chooses the port casks that will give this precious single malt additional complexity while retaining its original qualities. The Balvenie 21 offers a complex nose of ripe grapes doubled by a dry note of hazelnut found in the mouth where it expresses a suave and creamy character. It is a real delight, a whisky to discover absolutely!
