This Sony TC-209SD is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was first sold by Sony in 1975 with a recommended retail price of USD $500 and discontinued 3 years later in 1978. The main features of the Sony TC-209SD are: 2 heads, mechanical 3 digit tape counter, manual tape type selection and capable of handling normal, chrome and ferro-chrome tapes with additional manual equalization selection, belt driven single-capstan transport.
