1 Rare and beautifull Christ Healing the Sick" etching after Rembrandt Van Rijn (Dutch 1606-1669) from the 100 Guilder Prints
On the back there is a stamp from the Reichsdruckerei Berlin: The reason for the "facsimile" stamp is the excellent work of the artists at the Reichsdruckerei and the fact that the Reich prints are usually indistinguishable from their original artwork. The dimensions of the sheets and printing plates usually correspond exactly to the original templates. The sheet offered here comes from the editions of the Reichsdruckerei. Based on the blind stamp, the sheet dates from around 1890.
Circular blindstamp circling eagles head on the right down corner. Excellent condition.
