Escher). Before the war, the production of small cars had started, but as a result of the war they were never distributed. After the war, the production of cars started to use the capacity of the existing machines. In 1953 the company was expropriated and renamed VEB Press- und Schleifmittel, a name that was later changed to Plasta Werke Sonneberg, Betrieb Theuern, Duisland.
