We have two designer chairs Calin available, produced by Ligne Roset. This chair is like a giant pillow with a loose cover which may be removed for dry cleaning. The chair Calin is designed by Pascal Mourgue. He graduated from Boulle school (sculpture) and Ensad (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs). He began designing furniture in 1962. He worked in fields as diverse as designing sailing boats for Cartier, crystal objects for Baccarat, architecture, painting and sculpture. It was not until the 1980s that he focused on furniture for the home. In 1994, a fruitful collaboration was born between Pascal Mourgue and Ligne Roset. Calin was his first offering, based on the unusual concept of providing the same level of comfort in a sofa as in a pillow. One to four chairs are offered by us, made of khaki cotton in good condition like shown in the pictures. FYI - the new price is 1.600 Euro each.
