Naudin Tiercin – Fleurie 2020 – Cru du Beaujolais, France (6 bottles)

A beautifully crafted Cru Beaujolais from the village of Fleurie — known as the most elegant and aromatic of all the Beaujolais crus. Naudin Tiercin 2020 captures the vintage’s perfect balance between ripe fruit and floral finesse, offering an expressive yet refined interpretation of Gamay grown on granite soils.

Vineyards & Winemaking
The vines are planted on steep, granite-rich slopes that define the Fleurie appellation. Grapes are hand-harvested and undergo semi-carbonic maceration — a hallmark of Beaujolais winemaking — to enhance fruit purity and silkiness. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled concrete vats, followed by short aging to preserve freshness and typicity.

Aging
Aged for several months in concrete and stainless steel, allowing the wine to retain its vibrant red fruit character and delicate floral aromas. No oak influence — just pure expression of terroir and grape.

Tasting Notes
Brilliant ruby-red in colour with purple highlights. The nose bursts with aromas of violets, raspberry, wild strawberry, and rose petals, framed by a hint of spice. On the palate, it’s smooth and medium-bodied, with silky tannins and lively acidity. The finish is long, elegant, and gently mineral — a perfect reflection of Fleurie’s nickname: “The Queen of Beaujolais.”

Food Pairing
Versatile and food-friendly — pairs beautifully with charcuterie, roast chicken, grilled salmon, duck breast, or creamy cheeses. Serve slightly chilled (14–15 °C) to highlight its freshness and perfume.

Drinking Window
Delicious now for its vivid fruit and finesse, but can evolve gracefully for 4–6 years.
