In partnership with the French artist Jean-Baptiste Launay, better known as Jisbar, Pipo Derani will have an exclusive painting on his helmet that will be used at the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will take place between the 11th and 12th of June 2022. 

After the race, the helmet will be auctioned on CataWiki and the entire amount collected will be donated to the GRAACC Hospital, located in São Paulo and which since 1991 has offered children and adolescents the right to achieve every chance of cure against cancer with quality of life, within the most advanced scientific standard. There are 4,000 patients treated per year.

“I have always followed the work of GRAACC, I have visited the hospital and everything they have done over the last 30 years is sublime, helping so many children and adolescents in the fight against cancer. As many people know, my father passed away in 2018 with the disease and I saw in this action a way to honor him”, commented Derani.

“I met Jisbar a short time ago and became an admirer of his art. Over the past few years, he has also carried out various actions in Europe, raising funds with his arts for socio-environmental campaigns, helping victims of Covid-19, among others. When I presented the idea of holding the auction in Le Mans for the benefit of GRAACC, he accepted right away”, continued the driver.

Jisbar is also very happy to be partnering for this noble cause.
“As a fan of motor sports, I was truly honored when I learned that Pipo was one of my
collectors and discovered his incredible career. When he told me about this project, I
immediately agreed to this partnership but especially to the fact that this initiative is
for such a noble cause! Collaborating with such a champion and above all such a
generous person will remain one of the most beautiful encounters in my career”,
Jisbar said.

“I hope that we can raise a large amount to help the GRAACC Hospital to continue carrying out this important work, helping so many those who are in this battle against cancer”, added the Brazilian.
