Vintage Mini Moto Kit Trade Box – 48 Motorbike Models – CGGC Grisoni – Italy, ca. 1970s/80s

A rare and highly collectible vintage toy display: an original Mini Moto Kit trade box by CGGC Grisoni Giocattoli, dating to the late 1970s–early 1980s. Produced in Italy, this colorful counter display was originally supplied to newsagents and toy shops, where individual kits were sold separately, making complete surviving examples like this increasingly scarce.

Description
This display box (Art. 396) contains 48 mini motorbike kits, complete, presented as originally intended for retail. These charming, snap-together models capture the spirit of iconic European and Japanese motorcycles of the era, including designs inspired by classics such as the Moto Guzzi V750, Laverda 750 SF, BMW R100 RS, and MV Agusta 500.

Display boxes of this type were typically discarded after use, adding to the rarity of complete examples such as this.

Note for collectors
Mini Moto Kits are a nostalgic reminder of mid-century European toy culture—affordable, accessible, and full of character. Complete trade boxes are especially sought after by collectors of vintage toys, advertising displays, and motorbike memorabilia.

An unusual and eye-catching piece—ideal for collectors to display.
