## Description: Nikon FM3A SLR Camera Body - Black Finish

### Overview

Up for auction is a stunning example of the **Nikon FM3A** in a sleek black finish. Released in 2001, the FM3A is widely considered the pinnacle of Nikon’s manual-focus SLR lineage. It is famous for its unique "Hybrid" shutter, which allows for electronically controlled aperture-priority auto-exposure while maintaining fully mechanical operation across all shutter speeds in the absence of batteries.

### Technical Highlights

* **Hybrid Shutter Control:** Offers the convenience of Aperture Priority (A) mode and the reliability of a fully mechanical shutter that works without battery power from 1/4000s to 1s plus Bulb.
* **Nikkor Compatibility:** Features an AI-type lens mount, making it compatible with a vast array of legendary Nikkor manual and autofocus lenses (manual focus only).
* **Build Quality:** Built with a rugged copper-silumin-aluminum alloy body, designed to withstand professional use in challenging environments.
* **Bright Viewfinder:** Equipped with a clear K3-type focusing screen and a bright viewfinder featuring a match-needle exposure system.

### Condition

* **Cosmetic:** The black finish is in excellent condition, showing very minimal signs of use. The leatherette is intact, and the base plate is well-preserved.
* **Mechanical:** The film advance is smooth, and the shutter fires accurately at all speeds.
* **Optics:** The viewfinder and mirror box are clean and clear.
* **Functionality:** The exposure meter and auto-exposure modes are fully operational.

### Included Items

As shown in the original photographs, this auction includes:

* Nikon FM3A Body (Black)
* Genuine Nikon Neck Strap (Grey/Black)
* Nikon Body Cap
* Accessory port cover (attached)

### Shipping and Handling

The camera will be packed with professional care using high-quality protective materials to ensure safe transit. It will be shipped via a tracked and insured courier service.
