In excellent condition – No reserve.

Exceptional original Jugendstil / Art Nouveau door handle set, salvaged from an old shop door. This is the large, architectural model with elegant curved levers and integrated thumb-operated latch mechanism—a refined and highly decorative feature typical of quality early 20th-century shopfront hardware.

Professionally polished to a warm golden gloss and waxed, preserving crisp contours and original character. Heavy, solid brass with strong sculptural presence. Complete with original internal lock mechanism. 

A rare, authentic set ideal for restoration projects, historic interiors, or as a statement piece in boutique, hospitality, or high-end residential settings.

Historical Context
Around 1900–1920, Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) influenced even functional architectural elements such as door hardware. Organic lines, elegant curves, and integrated thumb latches were hallmarks of high-quality shopfront and townhouse fittings of the period. 

Such complete original sets have become increasingly scarce due to renovations and demolitions, making authentic salvaged examples highly collectible today.
