Slim Aarons (1916–2006) – Pool at Las Hadas, 1974

Originele gelimiteerde YellowKorner-editie van de iconische foto Pool at Las Hadas van de Amerikaanse fotograaf Slim Aarons.

Slim Aarons, geboren als George Allen Aarons, was een Amerikaanse fotograaf die vooral bekend werd door zijn elegante fotografie van de internationale jetset, resorts, hotels en het sociale leven van de jaren 1950 tot en met 1980. Zijn foto’s staan bekend om hun karakteristieke zonnige sfeer en zorgvuldig gecomponeerde beelden van het mondaine leven.

Deze foto werd gemaakt in 1974 bij Las Hadas, Manzanillo, Mexico en toont gasten rond het zwembad van het bekende resort. Het werk is een typerend voorbeeld van Aarons’ beroemde “attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places”-stijl.

Dit exemplaar is uitgegeven door YellowKorner als een limited and individually numbered edition.
