Executed in ink and mineral pigments on silk (絹本・肉筆), the composition captures the striking contrast between the powerful black crow and the calm atmosphere of the glowing sun and flowing mist-like waves below. The expressive brushwork gives the bird a strong sense of movement and vitality, while the minimalist background enhances the dramatic tension between stillness and motion.

The artwork is signed “一禾” (Ikka) with artist seal in red.
