非常に珍しいアンティークのゴールドバングルで、城塞または要塞の門を模したデザイン。正面中央には騎士の兜があり、開くと下に隠された時計のダイヤルが現れます。城塞風の装飾には戦 battlements、尖頭アーチ、可動扉、連結チェーンの装飾が施され、見る者に中世の復興を思わせる強い個性を与えています。
広幅でヒンジ付きのバングルは100グラムと heft があり、手首上での存在感が卓越しています。この種の作品は非常に珍しく、宝飾品・新奇デザイン・時計機構を一つの物に結びつけたものです。
