Modouro, Carte d´Or - White Port, DOC - Douro - 6 Bottles (0.75L)

Set of 6 bottles 75 cl of AOC Porto blanc ( white ) 19% The vineyard from which Port wine originates covers 40,000 hectares in the Douro region, where the harsh climate is challenging for vine growing. Harvested by hand on steep terraces, the grapes are crushed and then placed in vats where fermentation begins. During this period, the wine is fortified by adding a small amount of neutral alcohol of wine origin or a wine distillate. The Modouro White is then aged in large wooden casks. To share a unique moment with those you love, choose originality with this delicious Modouro White Port, full of elegance and complexity. It will delight your palate or make the perfect gift for any occasion. Tasting Colour: Golden to pale blond white. Nose: Floral, delicate and fruity (with hints of citrus). Palate: Supple, fresh, with a beautiful roundness. Serving advice Serve chilled at 10°C. Food and wine pairing: It will be the perfect partner for your aperitifs. Enjoy it neat or in a cocktail with ice cubes, a twist of lemon or a slice of orange, even a peppermint leaf or tonic. It pairs particularly well with dried fruits, but also with desserts such as tarts or fruits in syrup. Cellaring potential: A wine with excellent aging potential when stored under proper conditions: in its original packaging, at room temperature, protected from light. With age, this generous wine may develop some natural sediment. An extraordinary tasting experience : Taste Share or Keep
