Ancient Chinese Song–Yuan period celadon-glazed carved stem cup 影青釉印花杯 (Lot.486), ceramic, 7.9 cm diameter, 4.2 cm height, 3.1 cm bottom diameter, 68 g, in good condition and authentic.

Celadon-glazed carved stem cup
Description:
A celadon-glazed carved stem cup with an arched body and a short, high foot. Its shape is dignified and simple. The exterior is decorated with scrolling foliage and lotus petal patterns, the carving simple and fluid, the layout orderly. The glaze has fine crackles, the celadon glaze is warm and deep, and the patina is natural, showing the vicissitudes of time.
This piece can be traced back to the Song-Yuan period (approximately 1200-1300 AD) and was made by Chinese hands. The exposed clay at the foot roughly indicates its material and production date.
Condition:
The condition is good. There is some wear and tear on the lacquer, but no cracks or signs of repair. It has been inspected with strong UV light. (Please refer to the photos if the text is not clear enough.)
