Sumida Gawa - ポット - Stoneware

Sumida Gawa stoneware cache-pot from Japan, dated circa 1900–1910, in good condition with small cracks and defects, featuring polychrome enamels and three high-relief figures around the girdle, blue enamel maker’s mark on a white cartouche (likely illegible and possibly Ryozai), dimensions about 18.3 cm in diameter, 13 cm high and weighing 1117 g.
