Emile Bruchon (1806-1895) - 彫刻 - 40 cm - Spelter

Elegant Art Nouveau sculpture from the late 19th century (around 1890–1900) by the famous French sculptor Émile BRUCHON (XIX-XX). This work depicts a magnificent feminine allegory (likely Hebe or a bacchante) holding a cup in one hand, draped in a fluid tunic, with a movement of striking realism typical of the Belle Époque. Superb engraving work on the hair and anatomical details.

Metal & Patina: High-quality régule with original bronze patina, nuanced with golden and brownish reflections. Piece signed "Bruchon" incised on the base.
Condition: Good overall aesthetic state with its original patina. Note a small historical enamel at the tip of one raised finger (see close-up photos), which does not alter the overall superb line and grace of the sculpture. The cup is perfectly original.
