ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Nico Vernet (b. 1980) is a contemporary abstract artist based in Brussels whose work focuses on color, structure, and spatial balance. Working with layered surfaces and restrained compositions, he creates pieces that exist between minimalism and expressive abstraction.

His works are characterized by bold chromatic contrasts, textured finishes, and carefully constructed visual tension. By limiting the palette to two or three dominant tones, Vernet explores how subtle shifts in color and material can alter depth, rhythm, and atmosphere within a composition.
