1. Development Background and Significance as a "Role Model"
This doll was created as part of Mattel's "Role Models" series, a project celebrating real women who break boundaries and inspire the next generation of girls.

Two-time collaboration: This is actually the second collaboration between Osaka and Barbie. The first was the "Shero" doll, created in 2019 to commemorate the brand's 60th anniversary, and the current "Role Model" series was released to the general public in 2021.

Designer Carlyle Nuera has faithfully recreated Osaka's unique personality down to the smallest detail.
