Description from the seller
Ko-Imari plate - Japan - late Edo period (1800-1900)
This is a Ko-Imari plate from around the late Edo period. Like many other Ko-Imari (Arita ware) pieces, it shows distortions that occurred during the forming and firing processes, which are characteristic of ceramics from that time. Moreover, compared to modern Arita ware, what is considered to be superior are the evenly spaced thin hand-painted lines and delicate brushwork, making the level of craftsmanship truly astonishing.
Very good condition.Please check pictures.
Material: Porcelain
Technique : Hand painted
Size: 4 x 21 x 12 cm
We will ship it with insurance and tracking by airmail. We will try our best to dispatch it as soon as possible.
