Spiral-decorated colorless blown glass flacon, a Roman antique, measuring 110 × 65 × 65 mm and dating to the 1st–2nd century AD, original in very good condition with a discreet lip repair, provenance Belgian collection acquired in 2017 from Galerie Dominique Thirion.

透明無色の吹きガラス製バルサメールは飛び吹きで成形され、腹部は球形、底部はかろうじて平ら。円柱状の首は上部でやや細く絞られ、不規則に内側へ折り返した口縁で広がる。本体と首には、熱を加えて赤熱させた細い白い網目が螺旋状に巻きつく装飾が残る。表面には銀色の光沢を伴う部分的な虹色光沢と、微かな多色のニュアンス、そして土の沈着が見られる。
