カスタムスタンド付きの素晴らしい petrified wood の一片。
Petrified Wood は、樹木が倒れ、土や砂の層に覆われたことにより鉱物化してできた木の一部です。自然災害が原因で起こることが多いです。Petrified Wood に見られる色は、土壌や砂の鉱物によって決まり、それぞれの鉱物が独自の色を生み出します。石化の過程は、節、樫、年輪といった木の全ての特徴を保存します。遠い過去の腐敗過程が、しばしば複数の色を持つ美しい結晶の形成を生み出すことがあります。

What began as annual trips to Indonesia, a family history descendant of Dutch Indies, and a passion for handmade objects has grown into the rich collection of design objects we offer today with pride.
We specialise in sourcing authentic, artisanal pieces directly from small family-owned ateliers throughout Java, Bali, Sumatra and beyond. Our collection ranges from hand-carved décor and bronze sculptures to natural-material homeware. Each item is carefully selected for its craftsmanship, character, and story.
We have over 10 years of experience working closely with Indonesian artisans. Because of this, our expertise lies in identifying high-quality workmanship, natural materials, and unique pieces that stand out. Every lot we list on Catawiki is personally inspected by us and supports the local communities and traditional techniques we deeply believe in.
