1. 様式的特徴
馬の外観：四蹄が地面から離れており、全速力を連想させる。頭部と首が前方へ伸び、動的な緊張感を生んでいる。
多色彩の痕跡：黄色と斑点の装飾模様が馬の体にまだ見える一方、鞍と腹帯は黒と赤で塗られている。
騎手の姿勢：騎手はまっすぐ座り、手を組んだ状態で、衣服には赤い顔料の痕跡が見える。
残る顔料はまだらで不均一。表面には土染みの不規則な痕跡と埋葬の痕跡がある。全体の色調は、素朴な黄系、灰褐色、オフホワイトの混色で、人工的な装飾というより自然で穏やかな質感を伝え、何世紀にもわたる埋葬を通じて培われた古美の趣を醸し出している。
