黄銅製で、全面に金箔風の漆塗りを施した無量寿仏坐像。像は正座ではなく結跏坐の姿勢を取り、頭部には五葉冠を戴く。冠の葉はそれぞれ transforming Buddha の像を鋳造しており、手は瞑想の印で結ばれている。衣は中国風の長衣をまとい、衣紋の文様は滑らかで自然な趣き。顔は慈悲深く穏やかで、阿弥陀仏の儀式的特徴に沿っている。全体の金彩には時を経て自然な擦れの痕が見られ、銅は厚く、塗膜は温かく湿潤な質感で、目立つ欠陥はない。

Tibetan Buddhist bronze lacquered gold seated statue of Amitayus, cast in brass with lacquered gold applied throughout. The statue is sitting cross-legged, with a five-leaf crown on its head. The leaves of the crown are each cast with the image of the transformed Buddha. Its hands are tied in meditation mudra. It is dressed in a Chinese-style cassock. The pattern of the clothes is smooth and natural. The face is compassionate and peaceful, which is in line with the ritual characteristics of Amitayus Buddha. The overall gold paint has traces of natural wear and tear over time, the copper is thick, the coating is warm and moist, and there are no obvious defects.
