暗色の蛇紋石から彫られた卓越したタイノ族の像で、頭部が大きく、際立つ顔立ちを持ち、極めて高度に作り込まれた胴体を備えた力強い擬人像を表しています。像には深く彫られた瞳、際立つ鼻、分かれた唇、そして額と頭の両側に広がる精巧な彫刻の冠飾りが備わっています。磨かれた表面と丁寧に施された彫刻は、グレータ―・アンティル諸島のタイノ族の高度な石工技術を反映しています。
この像は強い儀式的性格を持ち、人間的要素と象徴的要素を、緊密で均整のとれた構図の中で組み合わせています。特に注目すべきは、頭の後ろに突き出した大きな背部突起で、儀礼的な図像表現や霊的な表現に関連する特徴です。こめかみ周辺と冠飾りの周囲に施された豊かな装飾彫刻は、作品の視覚的な印象を高めるとともに、祖先崇拝や宗教的信念と結びつく聖なる zemí（聖なる象徴・地位を示す品）としての役割を強調します。
