紀元前8世紀から6世紀のルーリスタン青銅製動物象像
8世紀から6世紀の紀元前にさかのぼる、細部までよく掘り込まれたルーリスタン青銅製の動物象像。長く伸びた角を持つスタイライズドな岩羊（イベックス）または山羊を表しており、胴はコンパクト、下部はオープンワークになっています。動物の簡素でありながら表現力豊かな形は、西部イランのルーリスタン青銅器制作の特色で、岩羊・山羊や他の角のある動物が、力強さ・保護・牧畜のアイデンティティに結びつく象徴的モチーフとして頻繁に用いられてきたことを示しています。作品は古代の青銅表面が魅力的に残っており、自然な錆と摩耗が見られ、鉄器時代イランの金属工芸に典型的な、優雅な輪郭と特徴的なプロファイルを preserving しています。
