時代：20世紀初頭（1900-10）
来歴：スウェーデンの競売会社； Mats Sigelfeldt - スウェ Swedish
歴史的にはザンデ族とエヌザカラ族の精巧な軍隊によって武器として使用されたこともあるが、このタイプのナイフは20世紀に衰退し、機能的な道具というより象徴的な道具となった。祖先を称える儀式で特に使用され、力のある男性の葬儀で操られ、さらには投げられたり墓に埋められたりしたこともある。力の象徴として強力で、貴族の専有と見なされ、保管・保護される倉庫が多かった；家にkpingaを所持する特権を持つ男性はごくわずかだった（Westerdijk、The African Throwing Knife、1988）。
この年代の品として繊維製の柄を備え、状態は極めて良好。
