3点の陶製像のセット、唐代および以降
唐代（618-960）は一般に中国文明の頂点と見なされ、長い繁栄・平和・安定の時代の幕開けを告げました。三彩陶器の大半は棺酸（minqi）として作られました。首都長安の周辺にはこのような像の製作に専念する大規模な工房がいくつかありました。高位者の墓には、あらゆる大きさ・種類の陶器が副葬されました。例えば、地下世界の邪悪な霊を墓から守る像や、神々を好意的に働かせる像もありました。これらの三点の墓碑像は、それぞれダンサー、肉屋、犬を表しています。
状態報告：これらの像には目に見える損傷の痕跡がなく、良好な状態で保たれています。
出自：この像は、ベルギーのジェント（ Gent ）の私有コレクションの一部で、同様の像が複数含まれており、所有者の在庫に基づく購入先の扱いで、2001年5月から2011年8月の間にベルギーおよびフランスの複数の商人から購入されました。2025年にジェント近郊のオークションハウスより購入。
