Petrified Woodは、木が倒れ、土や砂の層に覆われたことで生じた鉱物化した木の一部です。自然災害が原因となることが多いです。Petrified Woodに見られる色は、土や砂に含まれる鉱物に依存します。各鉱物がそれぞれ独自の色を生み出します。木材の結節、樹皮、年輪といった特徴が保存される「石化」の過程が、ピースのあらゆる特徴を保持します。 過去の遠い時代にかけて進行した可能性のある腐朽過程が、しばしば多色の美しい結晶を生み出します。

What began as annual trips to Indonesia, a family history descendant of Dutch Indies, and a passion for handmade objects has grown into the rich collection of design objects we offer today with pride.
We specialise in sourcing authentic, artisanal pieces directly from small family-owned ateliers throughout Java, Bali, Sumatra and beyond. Our collection ranges from hand-carved décor and bronze sculptures to natural-material homeware. Each item is carefully selected for its craftsmanship, character, and story.
We have over 10 years of experience working closely with Indonesian artisans. Because of this, our expertise lies in identifying high-quality workmanship, natural materials, and unique pieces that stand out.
