ローマ生まれ、1990年4月生まれのLACRISSは、本能的な必然として芸術を体験する。常に彼女に属してきた現実としての芸術。学校時代から、Drawingは自然な使命のように浮かび上がり、ポケットに鉛筆を忍ばせて家を出ない日があったのを彼女は思い出す。まるで護符のように。
建物の灰色さに退屈を感じる時、または会話のリズムと合っていないと感じる時、彼女はそれを取り出して思いを形にし、新聞紙の端や紙ナプキンの端にまで架空の都市を描いたことさえあった。その鉛筆は世界の凡庸さに対する盾であり、残すべき痕跡がある限り彼女には生きるべき現実があることの証だった。その絶対的な情熱は、今日、定義された職業へと花開いた。
都市文化、ストリートアート、写真の影響を受け、彼女の作品は現代アートのシーンの中で、内側からの直感的でオリジナルなスタイルを持って位置づけられている。LACRISSはキャンバス上で自信に満ちた本能的な言語を展開し、絵具の滴り、太いアクリルの筆致、スプレーの層が表面を混沌の中で調和させて染み出す。混合媒体=木炭、鉛筆、マーカー、インクの使用は、生々しくカラフルな作品を生み出し、街のエネルギーを放出しつつも、圧倒的な存在感を保つ。
