Two Art Deco Christofle – Gallia Silver-Plated Travel / birth gift Drinking Sets by Luc Lanel (c. 1930)
A rare and elegant pair of Art Deco silver-plated drinking sets by the prestigious French house Christofle, and one from the Gallia collection, designed by the renowned modernist designer Luc Lanel.
Each set consists of a beautifully shaped goblet (beaker) and a matching napkin ring, both decorated with refined horizontal line motifs typical of the Art Deco period. The clean geometry and subtle stepped detailing reflect the timeless sophistication of Lanel’s design language, strongly influenced by modernist architecture and the decorative arts of the 1920s–1930s.
The sets are presented in their original Christofle and Gallia fitted cases, enhancing their collectible appeal.
