Description from the seller
A lovely antique Chinese lidded Box which shows an excellent craftsmanship. Made from magnificent lacquer covered wooden box. Lovely rounded edges and corners and decorated surface. Square hinges made from brass and a solid lock. Closes very well.
Handcrafted in ancient China during the late Qing Dynasty (19th century, possibly older).
From an old Dutch private collection, an old label on the bottom which dates from the 1920's-1940's.
Diagonal: 35,8 centimeter (length: 31 centimeter)
Condition: The box is in good condition, some wear and tear, see pictures. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
Shipping method: This lot will be securely packed and shipped with insurance, without stand.
