紀元前2000–1600年頃のミノア時代のクレタ島で広まっていたカマレス様式の古代壺の非常に装飾的なレプリカです。形状は青銅器時代のミノア風の取っ手付きポットの形を踏まえています。腹部の膨らんだ本体、長い注ぎ口、そして背後の取っ手が特徴です。肩部の小さな plastische Knubben が、古代の手本に見られる典型的な意匠要素を受け継いでいます。
明るい表面には赤茶色の花柄と曲線の装飾が描かれ、ミノア陶器に特徴的な自然モチーフを思わせます。調和のとれた造形と表現力豊かな絵付けにより、この作品は装飾的なコレクター向けの品として、あるいはアンティーク風のインテリアのアクセントとして優れた存在です。
