Up for auction is a magnificent Republic miniature transistorized reel-to-reel tape recorder, manufactured in Japan during the golden era of the 1960s. This specific model is a rare find, especially in this pristine condition.
State of Conservation:
Cosmetic condition: Mint / New Old Stock (NOS). The device has been incredibly well-preserved over the decades. It still retains its original factory protective plastics on the top cover and the metal transport handle.
Working condition: Fully Operational. Unlike most vintage recorders from this era whose internal belts have disintegrated, this unit is tested and works perfectly. Both Forward (FORW.) and Rewind (REW.) mechanical functions run strong and smooth.

Two original 3-inch transparent plastic reels with magnetic tape.
The original remote-control microphone ("Remote Sw. ON/OFF") with its cable.
The original vintage mono earphone (still sealed in its plastic bag).
