ローマで1990年4月生まれのLACRISSは、本能的な必然性として芸術を捉えています。自分に常に属してきた現実としての芸術。学校時代から、絵を描くことは自然な使命として現れました。ポケットに鉛筆を忍ばせて家を出ないことをいつも思い出します—お守りのような存在です。
建物の灰色さに退屈を感じたり、会話のリズムと合わないときには、それを取り出して思考に形を与え、新聞の端や紙ナプキンの端にまで想像上の都市を描くことさえありました。その鉛筆は世界の平凡さに対する盾であり、残すべき痕を持てば生きる現実があるという証でした。この純粋な情熱は、今日、定義された職業へと花開いています。
都市文化、ストリートアート、写真の影響を受けた彼女の作品は、切実で独創的なスタイルを持ち、現代美術シーンにその居場所を見出します。LACRISSはキャンバス上で自信に満ちた本能的な語彙を展開し、絵具の滴、太いアクリルの筆致、スプレーペイントの層が表面を調和の混沌へと染め上げます。混合媒体—木炭、鉛筆、マーカー、インクの使用は、路上のエネルギーを放出する鮮やかでカラフルな作品を生み出しつつ、巨大な存在感を保ちます。
