Late Roman/Early Byzantine Gold-filled お守りリング - ガーネットをあしらった金の指輪

Roman ring from the 2nd–3rd century, gold-filled, 3 g total weight, with a garnet, in reasonable used condition with visible wear, the ring and garnet damaged and the setting loosened at the thinnest point; diameter about 17 mm, overall height 21 mm, width 16 mm, garnet 9 × 7 mm, acquired by inheritance in 2017 from a Dutch private collection dating to around 1970–1980.
