1940年代〜1950年代の宝石は、ジュエリー界で「タンク」と呼ばれます。この時代のタンク宝飾は、ピカソなどの巨匠たちにより始まり、立体的なラインと構成、イエローゴールドまたはローズゴールドのデザイン、そしてダイヤモンドの優位性が特徴です。
タンクリングはレトロなデザインと当時ならではの特徴的なフォルムで際立ちます。
