打ち出し銀の封印リングで、四つの英国刻印がはっきりと見えます。
四つの刻印、上から下へ
"925" は卵形の中に（右上）- 純度表示。1000分の925、つまり純銀、いわゆるシルバー・スターリングを意味します。英国では1999年以降、"925" は旧式の跳ねるライオンに取って代わりましたが、意味は同じです。
盾の中でもう一つ（下部）- バーミンガム試金検査所の都市印です。錨は1773年以降、バーミンガムの象徴であり、作品がそこで鑑定されたことを証明します。
"D /" が四角の中（左上）- 製造者または後援者の印。英国の製造業者は頭文字を刻印したパンチを登録します。バー/アポストロフ付きの"D" は、2000年代以降の小規模工房で一般的な現代登録です。
中央の長方形（最も使われている部分）- 伝統的な英国セットではここに跳ねるライオンと日付の文字が見られます。あなたの写真には左向きの動物のシルエットが写っていますが、それはライオンで、ガイドではグループの一部として「makers mark TS, 925, the Anchor ( Birmingham assay office), and the Lion」と説明されています。すでに"925" があるため、現代ではライオンは任意とされます。
この組み合わせ「アンカー + 925」は、よく「Hallmarked 925, Birmingham Anchor」として説明されます。
