イスラムのブロンズ象嵌リング：カリグラフィーを施したベゼル、紀元11世紀〜13世紀
大きな楕円形のベゼル（約2 × 1.2 cm）に、緻密な絡み模様と筆書き風または偽アラビア文字風の文様が深く刻まれた、印象的なブロンズの印鑑リング。彫刻は緻密で、暗いパティーナに美しく映えます。太く頑丈なリングの輪には、盛り上がった表面に金-ブロンズのハイライトが映える、Dark brownish-green（深い茶褐色がかった緑青）のパティーナが特徴です。中世イスラム美術の高品質で視覚的に際立つ例と言えます。
このタイプの指輪は、カリグラフィーまたは幾何学模様を施したベゼルを特徴とし、セルジューク朝と初期アイユービー朝の時代に人気を博し、個人の印章としても、また格式の高い装飾品としても用いられました。
