Created in fiber-reinforced cement and ground glass, this artwork consists of four sculptural elements handmade by the artist. Produced from molds that were destroyed during the creative process, the piece is entirely unique and impossible to reproduce in its original form, making it a true one-of-a-kind artwork (1/1).

GENESIS V: Metamorphosis represents the sacred moment of transformation and birth. Three organic entities surround and protect a central egg, guarding the mystery contained within. More than mere guardians, these forms embody the future manifestation of what is about to emerge: beings born from the same origin, connected through an endless cycle of evolution and renewal.

The sculpture reflects on the invisible processes that precede existence. The egg symbolizes pure potential, life not yet revealed, while the surrounding figures represent metamorphosis fulfilled—what was once possibility has become presence.

The deeply layered textures that flow across the organic forms evoke the marks of time, cycles of growth, and the experiences that shape every living being. Each groove may be interpreted as a layer of learning, accumulated memory, or inner transformation. Much like the rings of a tree or geological formations created over thousands of years, these surfaces speak of evolution, resilience, and adaptation.

The central egg features a distinct texture composed of countless small reliefs and organic markings, suggesting living matter in the process of formation. Its surface symbolizes the silent stage through which life organizes itself before becoming visible. It represents unrealized possibilities, dreams in incubation, and the latent potential that exists within every individual before reaching their own transformation.

Through an abstract and symbolic visual language, GENESIS V: Metamorphosis invites the viewer to contemplate the eternal cycle of transformation—the moment when the unknown begins to take shape and possibility becomes reality. The work reminds us that profound change requires time, protection, and patience, and that within every experience lies a seed waiting for the right moment to unfold and reveal its true nature.
