Ikechosaurus is one of the largest and most specialized choristopods in the Jehol Biota. Its most distinctive feature is its highly aggressive, elongated snout. Its skeletal structure and lifestyle are highly similar to modern long-snouted crocodiles. In this lot, the triangular skull is remarkably well-preserved, with clearly defined teeth, making it of extremely high academic and aesthetic value.

The overall preservation of the specimen is astounding:
Vertebrae and Ribs: The vertebral axis extends naturally, and the ribs are closely spaced, showing no signs of severe compression from crustal movements, perfectly preserving the three-dimensional skeletal morphology of its pre-life state.

Limbs and Joints: The joints of the fore and hind limbs are naturally extended, and all five fingers (toes) are fully formed. The bones are a deep, rare color.

Extremely Long Caudal Vertebrae: The slender tail extends completely from the torso to the edge of the rock slab, demonstrating its powerful ability to break through water and swim in ancient lakes.

A museum-quality natural artwork, the specimen is highly original, having undergone only professional-grade fossil cleaning and surface solidification protection. There are no signs of excessive artificial modification. Highly recommended for high-end private collections or art displays in ultra-luxury spaces.
