稀少で本物の古代後期ローマ/初期ビザンツ時代の土器製オイルランプで、独特のゾーモルフ（動物形）形状を持つ。
この卓越した品は、前方に突出するノズル開口部が目立つ、 stylized body（意匠化された胴体）を特徴とし、古代使用により周囲が濃く黒ずんでいます。ノズルの上には小さな充填穴があります。上面には、中央の像を取り囲む円状の浮き彫り点饰を配したレリーフモチーフが施されており、ローマ時代のオイルランプでよく見られる装飾構成です。
ランプには年期を感じさせる強い使用痕が見られ、長年の使用と経年の兆候が顕著です。典型的には以下の通りです。
・ノズル周囲の濃いすすの堆積
・鉱物の付着と埋没 patina
・考古学的陶器と一致する表面の擦れ
形状と素地の不規則さ、焼成時の不均一さ、自然な摩耗パターンは、現代生産ではなく本物の古代工芸技術を示す明確な証拠です。

古代品として良好な状態で、使用痕・付着物・焼成の不均一さが見られます。
現代の修復は検出されません。
